Project Connect Online is built on the stable, well recognised and market leading platform of Microsoft Project Server and provides comprehensive functionality for Project Managers, Team Members and Executives.

Project Managers
Project Managers access Project Connect Online via Project Web Access (PWA), Outlook or Project Professional 2007. Project Professional can be installed locally on their PC or we can provide access via a hosted Remote Desktop environment (for an additional monthly charge).
Project Managers can:
- Create new projects and save them to their Project Server
- Add others in the organization to their project teams
- Publish a project so the users on that project team can view the project in PWA
- Assign tasks to users (or other resources)
- Configure email alerts to notify them when other users have updated tasks or status reports
- Approve task progress updates and status reports
- Create “stoplight” view dashboard reports in PWA
- Perform all of the functions of a Team Member or Executive
Team Members and Executives
Team Members and Executives access Project Connect Online via PWA or Outlook.
They can:
- View their assigned tasks and report on progress
- Manage their email alerts about new or changed tasks
- Download the Outlook add-in for PWA to see tasks as Outlook appointments or tasks
- Upload documents and associate them with a project or an individual task
- View, create and collaborate on issues, risks, and milestones for a project or task
- Create activities, and status reports
Unlike most other Online Project Management tools Project Connect Online can grow with your organisation and evolve as your Project Management maturity develops by allowing you to easily upgrade to the full functionality of Microsoft Project Server.
Your Data
We utilise seven layers of physical, network, and application data security to keep your data safe and available. Our phased onsite and offsite data backup prevents significant data loss even in the case of a catastrophic system failure with rapid data restore available in case of data loss or corruption.
